It's been about a month since our return from our international trade show travels, and in some ways it seems we never left the comfort of the salt air and sandy soil of Charleston...
On Memorial Day we set sail (or air if you will) to scatter a few Produce seeds across the pond at two of the world's best home and gift shows, Maison & Objet and Top Drawer - London. We first traveled from Charleston to Paris, where we eventually nestled in our apartment in Place de Vosges. A gorgeous neighborhood square just a stones throw from the historic gems of Paris. Chateau de Candle Farmers - we called it!
Our days in Paris were spent exhibiting at Maison, meeting new retailers, making new friends, attempting to speak French, sightseeing, eating endless amounts of bread - oh and did I mention eating bread?
After a great show in France, we sowed on to the land of tea, fish n' chips, and most importantly - Top Drawer! After a long day of set up (and British accent attempts at the local pub might I add), the show was underway
at the Olympia Center!
Days were filled with new UK friends, sharing our candle inspiration, and scouting for the royal family (of course). It was a cheeky time had by all! We returned home with a whole new bounty of retailers and farmer friends. We're anxious to continue our adventures and further nurture and grow the seeds we planted overseas.
Until next time, Europe, Cherrio!
